Durable, comfortable, and built to move, the brush-busting Sawbuck pant is the answer to navigating through Idaho sage in search of chukar, pheasants, and grouse or through Sonoran thorns for coues deer. We've combined our proven Corrugate Guide Pant, 4-way stretch nylon with double-panel nylon brush panels, and triple-needle reinforced stitching to create a hunting brush pant that fits and moves like a climbing pant.

The rigid waistband manages a heavier overall pant construction, while the articulated construction and stretch paneling provide unobstructed mobility in the field. With both belt and suspender loops and a DWR finish to shed moisture, the Sawbuck hunting brush pants have created a much-needed solution for hunters navigating through the roughest environments.

This pant uses a rigid waistband with no stretch. If your waist falls close to or directly between sizes, select the next size up.

If your inseam length falls close or directly between measurements, select the shorter length option.

This is my second pair. They are the most comfortable pants that I own. Wore a pair all last season quail hunting in western Oklahoma with 0 issues. I will probably own 3 pair by this upland season!

Noisy fabric

First off I'll start by saying that I do love the cut and fit of these pants and they seem more durable than my other first lite pants. I haven't field tested them on blackberries yet, but I think the double layering will help. As a female who generally wears a small or size 2-4, the 30" waste fits good. Not too tight, and extra room for movement. The pockets on the men's pants are also much more functional! The only reason I'm not rating these a 5, is because the fabric seems pretty noisy. Not sure I'd risk wearing these on an archery hunt, but they'll do for rifle season. I'm 50/50 on these pants. The fabric definitely seems tougher but you're getting it at a cost with the increased noise of the fabric.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Amazing Work Pants

I've used these pants or clearing 6 acres of cedar, cactus, and devils thorn in the Texas Hill country. They've taken a few hits from my Stihl chainsaw, then restitched, and back up and running. I've had no issues with thorns. About to clean up 100 acres in Junction, TX and will see how Mesquite works on them.

Using them during dog training. Didn't feel a single thorn poke and no Burrs attached to them. Also very comfortable.

Comments about Men's Sawbuck Brush Pant

I purchased these to use as shed hunting pants where I'd be in the thick brush. Walking through the brush, the thorns go straight through the pants and stick right into my legs. Front, back, high or low, the thorns easily find their way through the pants. For as high of a cost, they're definitely not worth it.
